Granola Bar Recipes - White House Granola

White House Granola



6 c. Old fashioned oats

½ c. dry milk powder

½ c. Sesame seed

1 tsp. salt

1 c. Wheat germ

1 c. Honey

½ c. Brown sugar

½ c. Cooking oil

3 tsp. Cinnamon

1 c. Raisins or Apricots (added after baking)

Optional:

1 ½ c. Shredded coconut

¾ c. coarsely chopped Almonds, Walnuts or Pecans



Combine dry ingredients.

Add oil and honey mixing well.

Spread in 2 9x12 baking pans.

Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

Remove from oven & stir in dried fruit.

Stir during cooling to prevent lumping.

Store in covered jars or plastic bags.

Makes 12 Cups.
